History<\/h2>\n

EMS Straufhain GmbH was established on March 1, 1994, at a previous location in the industrial area „Am Wei\u00dfbach“ in Streufdorf.<\/p>\n

Initially, alongside metalworking, we focused on cable assembly and assembling automotive air conditioning systems and computer keyboards.<\/p>\n

In subsequent years, the core business shifted to metalworking. A comprehensive machinery setup was established, the company site was refurbished, and three factory buildings were constructed. Today, our facilities include 31 CNC lathes, 3 CNC machining centers, and 13 multi-spindle automatic lathes.<\/p>\n

Location<\/h2>\n

Streufdorf is situated in southern Thuringia, near the border with Bavaria. It is located in the southern foothills of the Thuringian Forest, below the eponymous Straufhain hill with its castle ruins. The administrative center, Streufdorf, first documented in the year 800 AD, hosts our company headquarters.<\/p>\n

The surrounding Thuringian Forest and Rennsteig trail offer numerous leisure and recreational activities. Nearby spa towns, Bad Colberg in Thuringia and Bad Rodach in Bavaria, are additional attractions.<\/p>\n

The historic ducal city of Coburg, with cultural events, shopping options, and excellent amenities, is just a 20-minute drive away.<\/p>\n

Thanks to new highway connections (A71 and A73), major hubs are easily accessible.<\/p>\n

    Die EMS Straufhain GmbH wurde im Jahr 1994 gegr\u00fcndet. Heute produzieren wir mit ca. 60 Mitarbeitern auf einer Produktions\u00adfl\u00e4che von ca. 7.200 m\u00b2 und 13.000 m\u00b2 Grund und Boden.<\/p>

    Ein gro\u00dfz\u00fcgiges Material- und Werkzeug\u00adlager sowie kompetente und flexible Mitarbeiter garantieren k\u00fcrzeste Liefer\u00adzei\u00adten, auf Wunsch auch just-in-time.<\/p>
